Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs conducts a wide variety of communication activities, from academic and cultural exchanges to press, radio, television, film, seminar, library, and cultural center programs, abroad in order to strengthen foreign understanding of American society, obtain greater support of U.S. policies, and increase understanding between the United States and other countries.
